"So...what's next?" As upcoming college graduates prepare for the post-grad transition, the lessons learned through the unknown can inspire us all in our own unique journeys. In a heartfelt, honest talk at TEDxSMUWomen, Racquel Lee shares her "not-so-real world" story after graduating from college and how she turned her behind the scenes moments into an inspirational movement for young adults. Racquel provides 3 key lessons from an unknown transition that any person, young or old, can apply in their everyday life. After receiving her Bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University, Racquel Lee went on to pursue her passion and now leads young adults in discovering and unleashing their maximal potential. Racquel is the founder of two core programs, “So You’re About to Graduate” and “
#WHATSNEXT” where she provides interactive sessions and workshops designed for high school and college students transitioning into the real world workforce. Filled with laughter and a fresh, yet mature perspective, Racquel strives to fulfill her purpose, set the standard in leadership and service, and re-write the narrative of the under-prepared graduate. Racquel packs the power with memorable experiences of her life that include: ABC Family's "Job or No Job", The Walt Disney College Program, The Tom Joyner Morning Show, Big XII Conference on Black Student Government, National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), International Girls Leadership Initiative World Summit, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Texas A&M's Southwestern Black Student Leadership Conference, and many more. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at
